Product Overview
SafeBox RT is a modular aluminium signalling cabinet developed to replace deteriorated enclosures while retaining the existing signalling equipment and internal wiring. It can also be supplied for new installations.
The cabinet combines a sealed rodent-resistant enclosure, passive ventilation and thermo-regulation, and mechanical and environmental protection suited to operational railway environments. More than 200 units are in service on the French high-speed rail network.
Passive Thermo-Regulation
Passive airflow limits the internal temperature to no more than +7°C above ambient without drawing power from the equipment inside the cabinet.
Rodent and Environmental Protection
Sealed joints, gaskets and protected cable-entry points reduce the risks of rodent ingress, dust, water and contamination.
Existing Equipment Retained
Modular panels are assembled around the existing equipment so internal wiring and connections can remain untouched.
Minimal maintenance
Marine-grade aluminium and a powder-coated finish provide long-term protection without routine repainting.
Proven reliability
SafeBox RT has been deployed since 2018, with more than 200 units installed on the French railway network.

Anti-stagnation roof
The sloped roof supports water drainage, while its reflective finish reduces solar heat gain.
MT08045 cable entries
Cable-entry points use an MT08045-compliant sealing approach to reduce rodent and environmental ingress.
Anti-slip aluminium floor
The coated aluminium floor includes cable hatches and can be configured for slab or raised-platform installations.
Single-Shift Installation
Single and double configurations can typically be installed within seven hours, subject to site and operational constraints.
